Your Guide to Eliminating Debt
Welcome to Eliminate Debt Central! This site is designed to be your go to source for honest, accurate information and advice on how to best get out of debt fast.
There are countless methods and strategies touted for dealing with debt and, now more than ever, people are scrambling to address their personal finances and eliminate the burden of debt from their lives. How great would it be to keep all that money that you are paying out to your creditors every month?
Unfortunately, there are literally tens of thousands of people, companies, and websites looking to take advantage of people just like you. With all the contradicting information and different sales pitches, it is impossible to know who to trust. How will you ever decide on a plan to tackle your debt?
The truth is, nearly all the advice you hear or read is at least slightly misleading, and much of it is blatantly false. Companies that are looking to help you with your debt, even non profit organizations, profit in one way or another when you choose their services. Even so called gurus like Suze Ormond and Dave Ramsay stand to profit from the attention they get, and the advice they give is not always on the mark.
So, where should you turn then? After much searching, it seems to me that trustworthy, credible sources of debt help are few and far between.
As a certified financial counselor and as a person who has struggled with debt of my own, I have created this site as THE trusted debt guide for you to turn to. My pledge is to give honest, accurate advice with no consideration for profit motives.
How can you trust me? Do I stand to profit from your misery as well? The fact is, I do one day hope to profit from this website. However, my solemn promise is to never, EVER let the potential for profit affect the advice and information I give in any way. If I am ever to make a single penny off of this website, it will be due to my reputation and integrity in helping you get out of debt. I will not risk that for any sum of money.
I also have no motive for pushing anyone to pursue a particular financial service, product, or company. Any revenue I happen to earn on this site will strictly be limited to third party advertising on the site. As such, I will be able to remain impartial and unbiased, and my only goal will remain to help you find the best possible way out of debt for you.
That last paragraph is critically important. Most advisors or counselors have an incentive to get you to use their product or services to help you with your debt. Clearly, this is a conflict of interest for them and they have an incentive to convince you that their method is the best, regardless of your situation.
The real truth is this: the service or product that is best for you absolutely depends on your specific, individual financial situation! While credit counseling or debt settlement might be a good option for one person, it could be a terrible option for another. There is no one size fits all solution!
So how can you find out what the best option for your wallet is? Well, it is going to take some work and some research on your part, and you need to carefully evaluate everything you read and hear, being careful not to believe everything. Our goal with Eliminate Debt Central is to be the source that you can turn to for the honest help that you need.
So do you want to know your best option for eliminating your debt? Have a look around the site, read up a little, and shoot us an email if you have a question or want some advice about your situation. We promise to give you honest, straightforward answers.

February 18th, 2009 at 4:27 pmAn motivating post well worth the read – the number of credit cards must be relatively small, but it is regularly better to have more than one. Having too much credit available makes you seem risky to creditors, as you could quickly and easily burden yourself by means of extra money owing than you can handle. On the other hand, if you have just one credit card available to you, you are more or less at the mercy of the issuing bank’s terms and terms. By having added than one card, you are letting the bank know they are not your just credit options.
